About Cheapest Oil

Cheapest Oil started in January 2008 comparing the price of home heating oil in Northern Ireland.

The public response has been fantastic and even starting on a limited budget, visitor numbers have rocketed.

In May 2008, we provided heating oil prices for the Republic of Ireland and in July 2009, we started to include prices across the rest of the UK.

In 2019, we revamped our heating oil price comparison for America to take account of lots of new oil distributors that are now online.
